Albuktrack("we", "us") operates a multi-company shipment tracking platform for delivery companies, senders, and public tracking by code. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use our website and services.

What data we collect

Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed), role (company, sender, administrator), and company profile details submitted at registration.
Shipment data: tracking codes, sender and recipient contact details, addresses, status history, and notes added by delivery companies.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Cookie data: essential session identifiers and, only if you consent, analytics identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
Communications: messages you send to support (e.g. via email or contact flows).

Why we collect data

To provide accounts, dashboards, and shipment tracking features you request.
To authenticate users, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.
To review and approve delivery company registrations.
To respond to support requests and legal obligations.
With your consent, to measure website usage and improve our services.

Our legal bases under GDPR include contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and consent (non-essential cookies and marketing where applicable).

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in and core functionality. Non-essential analytics load only after you choose "Accept all" or enable analytics in cookie preferences. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Policy or the cookie settings control in the site footer.

Analytics tools are not active unless configured by the site operator and you have given consent.

Third-party services

Hosting & infrastructure: servers and databases used to run the application (data processed under our instructions).
Email: support communication via your email client or provider when you contact us.

We require processors to protect data and use it only for the purposes we specify. A list of sub-processors is available on request.

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and backup purposes.
Shipment records are retained as needed for tracking history and business operations, then deleted or anonymized according to operational policy.
Server logs are rotated typically within 90 days unless needed for security investigations.
Cookie consent records are stored for up to 12 months so we can respect your choices.

Security & HTTPS

We use HTTPS in production to encrypt data in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in the browser for API access; production deployments should prefer secure, httpOnly cookies where a backend-for-frontend pattern is used. Access to personal data is limited to authorized staff and company users according to role.

International transfers

Data may be processed within the European Economic Area. If data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
